We are a small arts&crafts business producing eco-friendly wooden stitch markers and classic stitch markers in a variety of materials.
Our stitch markers - both useful and beautiful to look at - convey a feeling of joy when you see them and bring a smile to the face of any handicraft enthusiast.
They also make excellent customer gifts and can be customised with your company logo if desired.
The creative mastermind of our company is Marjan, who makes the stitch markers by hand with great attention to detail (she usually works with a large magnifying glass for this, in order to perfectly produce the individual motifs down to the smallest element) and places great value on sustainability and environmental friendliness - also when it comes to shipping and packaging.
What do you use stitch markers for?
Stitch markers are part of the basic equipment of every knitting or crochet enthusiast.
They are used to mark increases or decreases, the centre of a round, the beginning of a round in socks or other circular knits, or to help with complicated patterns.
You simply attach them to the knitted or crocheted piece at the point you want to mark.
In short, they are a helpful addition, very practical to use and a real feast for the eyes to boot.
Stitch markers can be a gift
Our beautiful stitch markers make great customer gifts and small giveaways for loved ones.
These can be personalised in required quantities, your company colours and logo painted, printed or embossed on them to make an impression on your customers.

What are our stitch markers made of?
Since the beginning of 2021, we have been manufacturing wooden stitch markers from FSC- and PEFC-certified wood (mostly poplar or birch) and sustainable materials.
We predominantly use recycled and ecological raw materials and pay special attention to regionality in procurement.
We mainly use chalk paints (eco-test winner), the adhesives used are solvent-free and water-based, or self-produced from natural materials.
The beautiful pieces are sealed with a homemade beeswax-oil-mix, we get the beeswax from our local beekeeper.
The metal components currently consist of two different hook models: Leverback clasps in round or oval and 16mm lobster claw clasps. These are all of course nickel-, lead- and cadmium-free.

Unboxing an order from Atelier Marie Lucienne's
Obviously, we also pay attention to sustainability and the environment when shipping orders.
That's why we use, for example, cotton cords, parchment bags, FSC-certified paper folding bags, natural tissue paper, FSC-certified kraft paper and recycled cardboard boxes.
Even our adhesive tape is environmentally friendly and sustainable.
How to order Stitch Markers?
For business customers (specialist retailers - B2B)
Our beautiful stitch markers are in most cases available in packaging units of 3 pieces.
Our minimum order quantity is 50 EUR*, the individual products can be combined according to your wishes and also according to packaging units.
For other amounts, larger quantities or individual wishes, please feel free to contact us.
*Due to small business regulation, according to §19, para. 1 VAT, no VAT will be charged.
